Embu County leaders led by Governor Martin Wambora have demanded investigations into the resignation of the Alliance High School principal, Mr. David Kariuki. The leaders vowed to mobilize leaders in the entire County to pursue the issue further saying that the performance of the principal over the years was exemplary. Mr Kariuki resigned recently over bullying allegations at the school. The leaders said it was unfortunate that the principal had been forced to retire early.
