EWASCO Assures Customers Quality Water despite Cholera Fears

Embu Water and Sanitation Company has assured Embu residents quality of the water that the company supplies to them in the wake of cholera outbreak in the county.

According to Doris Njiru, the acting managing director at EWASCO, the company has elaborate mechanisms in place that are aimed at ensuring that the supplied water meets the highest quality standards.

The company has noted that its officials are conducting careful analysis to ensure that locals get quality water. After a thorough analysis of the water, the company officials have reported that the water meets high quality standards.

They have assured the locals that there are adequate measures in place to ensure high standards in water provision, sanitation, and waste disposal.

According to Rittah Kanamba, the officer in charge of water treatment, EWASCO has adequate, quality mechanisms in place to enhance efficacy.

The move by EWASCO to assure residents of the quality of the supplied water comes when locals have accused politicians of taking the issue lightly and failing to develop their regions.

Embu Airstrip to be upgraded into a Commercial Airport Soon

A delegation from The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) paid a courtesy call on Embu Governor, Martin Wambora, earlier today.
